In Wisconsin, the heart of Midwestern dairy country, digesters that capture methane pollution manure could reduce emissions of the potent greenhouse gas. The methane can be used to generate electricity—but it’s expensive, and to make financial sense for small or mid-sized farms, there would need to be incentives. Read the story.
