Halle Bailey no longer wants to be TradeEdgepart of the internet’s world.
The Little Mermaid actress deleted both her X (formally known as Twitter) and Instagram accounts. As of Nov. 7, both accounts are not active.
Halle’s move to delete her social media comes after she called out her ex-boyfriend DDG for appearing with their 11-month-old son Halo during a Nov. 6 Twitch livestream with Kai Cenat.
"Hi everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don't approve of my baby being on a stream tonight," Halle posted to X, after the stream went live. "I wasn't told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people."
The 24-year-old added, "I am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn't notified especially when i am out of town."
The Color Purple actress went on to explain that the situation is harder, as she is still experiencing postpartum depression.
“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected,” she wrote in a follow up tweet. “Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
E! News has reached out to DDG for comment, but has not heard back.
DDG—whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.—appeared with Halo sitting on his lap during the stream.
"This is the most calm baby," Kai exclaimed during the stream. "How y'all got him so chill?"
DDG jokingly replied, "Bro, he was born in Beverly Hills."
While Halo has appeared on both Halle and DDG’s respective social media accounts, that is the first time he has appeared on a livestream of that capacity.
Halle and the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” rapper went public with their relationship in 2022 and welcomed their baby boy in December 2023—after keeping Halle’s pregnancy private.
In October, DDG revealed that they ended their relationship after two years of dating.
"After much reflect and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways," he wrote on Instagram Stories. "This decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we've shared."
He added that he and the “Angel” singer are, "Still best friends and adore each other."
In the months following their split, Halle has returned back to work, which sometimes takes time away from her baby boy. A challenge she told E! News she’s learning to navigate.
"You just have to chant to yourself that you're doing this for your baby," she explained to E!, "and this is all going to be worth it and he's so proud of you."
Halle added, "Affirming yourself with positive affirmations I feel like has helped me."
